CAST BIOS

JOSH CARRUTHERS (Mr. Wickham) is very grateful to be a part of this talented group. His most recent roles have been Blore in “And Then There Were None” at the Playhouse. Brick in “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” at the BCT and Ensemble in “9 to 5” at BCT. Offstage Josh games it up with his furry terrors Ashpants and JoJo. Thank you for supporting him and this cast in his mainstage debut at The Empty Space. 

ALLY DAHLKE (Ensemble) is new to the community theatre stage and is super excited to make her debut at The Empty Space! Her previous roles include Mrs. Peacock in “Clue,” and appearances in the musicals “Spamalot'“ and “Mamma Mia,” and directing “A Christmas Chaos” at Independence High School. When she’s not working, studying, or rehearsing, she loves watching movies and hanging out with friends. She would like to thank Kristina for this wonderful opportunity, the cast for being so sweet and welcoming, her best friend Aris for pushing her to audition, and her mom for driving her everywhere and being supportive. 

JESUS FIDEL (Mr. Collins) has been creating art and theatre his whole life. He specializes in fine art and painting and sometimes takes the stage for entertaining roles. His recent acting credits include: A Certain Potions Teacher in “Puffs”, Perkins in “The Play That Goes Wrong”, Yusef El-Fayoumy in “The Last Days of Judas Escariot”, and Mr. De Pinna in “You Can’t Take it With You,” all at The Empty Space. He hopes his portrayal of this character brings you joy, laughter, and secondhand embarrassment 💜

MARINA GRADOWITZ (Lydia) is pleased to be up to no good once again! Recent credits include Annelle in “Steel Magnolias” and Riff Raff in “The Rocky Horror Show” at TES, and Kate/Delta Nu in “Legally Blonde” at Stars Theatre Restaurant. When she’s not busy annoying her onstage sisters, she’s working on her Bachelor’s in Accounting/Business Administration and serving as the Facilities Director at The Empty Space. She would like to thank her real life sister, Selah, for letting her annoy her offstage every day.

SELAH GRADOWITZ (Lady Catherine) is thrilled to be in this hilariously heartfelt show, cast, and crew! Recent credits include Phantom in “The Rocky Horror Show” at TES, Good Angel in “Doctor Faustus” at the Playhouse, and Ensemble/Understudy in “Peter and the Starcatcher” at TES! She’d like to dedicate her performance to her two cats, Meow Meow and Romeow in honor of Lizzy and Darcy’s cat energy in this show! Oh and also her real life sister, Marina, too she guesses ;P

RUTH LUNA (Jane) is happy to finally be performing on The Empty Space’s stage!!  Recent credits include Cybil in “The Altruists” (The Playhouse), Mrs Woods/Chutney in “Legally Blonde” (Stars Theater), and Zuzu in “Dance Nation” (The Playhouse). Offstage Ruth enjoys scuba diving, taking cat naps with her fur baby, Salem, and giving belly scratches to Harley. She would like to thank Kristina for the opportunity to be part of this amazing production,  the entire cast and crew, and her friends for always providing support.

ALEX MITTS (Darcy) is happy to be back on stage after too much time away. He would like to thank his partner, Bryn, for her continued support, his director, Kristina Saldaña, for the opportunity to come and play at The Empty Space’s new home, and YOU for supporting theatre and the arts. Some of Alex's favorite TES roles include Seymour (The Little Shop of Horrors), Drew (Rock of Ages), and Jerry (The Full Monty).

KAYLEIGH PEAKER (Mrs. Bennet) is excited to be returning to the stage after a five year hiatus. During that hiatus, she earned her masters degree in School Library and Information Technology. Previous performances include Mae (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Marcy (Dog Sees God), and A Company of Wayward Saints all at The Empty Space. Her performance, and all that come after, is dedicated to the memory of Robert L. Kempf. Thank you for sharing your passion with us. We will continue to carry its torch.

CHAYCE PERLIS (Bingley) is thrilled to be back on The Empty Space stage after last appearing in “The Outsiders” back in 2020. Some of his favorite past roles include the Emcee in “Cabaret,” Jesse Tuck in “Tuck Everlasting,” and a myriad of roles at the Gaslight Melodrama (his “home away from home”). Chayce would like to thank his family, friends, and incomparable partner Cody for their endless love and support.

GRACE PIERCY is beyond excited to be performing for the first time with The Empty Space. She recently performed as Axel Hammond in “The Nerd” at Liberty High School, and won third place in this year’s Peg Pauley Shakespeare Festival in the duo/trio category. She would like to thank Kristina for this wonderful opportunity.

CLARIANNE RIGHETTI (Charlotte) is so excited to be a part of this production. She was recently seen at The Empty Space in “Anastasia the Musical” as an ensemble member and Anya understudy. She was also recently in “Sweeney Todd” (ensemble) and “Titanic the Musical” (Kate Murphey) at the Ovation Theatre. Outside of rehearsals, Clarianne is a part time digital creator for social media. She would like to thank her director, Kristina, for giving her the splendid opportunity to be a part of this show! 

ANDREA VEGA (Lizzy) is excited to be back on stage, especially with all these wonderful people. She recently directed “Anastasia: The Musical” here at The Empty Space and was last seen on stage in “Hamlet” (Doctor/Player) at BC, “Six Characters In Search of An Author” (Mother) at Stars Playhouse and “Peter and the Starcatcher” (Mrs. Bumbrake) at TES. She’d like to thank Kristina for this opportunity and her family, friends & cats for all their love and support. Remember to spay/neuter your pets and adopt, don’t shop!

CARLIE WOOD (Miss de Brough) is so happy to be performing at The Empty Space with this amazing cast and crew! Some of her past roles at The Empty Space are: Phantom in “The Rocky Horror Show,” Silena Beauregard  in “The Lightning Thief,” and Ginny in “Puffs.” She would like to thank her friends, family, and boyfriend Tanner for always supporting her acting endeavors.
